Who handles billing

Crucible's payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record and is responsible for billing, tax collection, and payment compliance. Your invoice will be issued by Lemon Squeezy, and any payment disputes are handled through Lemon Squeezy's systems.

Free trial

All new accounts receive a 7-day free trial of the Solo plan. No credit card is required to begin the trial. You will not be charged anything during the trial period. If you choose not to subscribe before the trial ends, your account reverts to read-only access and no charge is applied.

When refunds are available

If you subscribed after a free trial and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of your first month's payment within 7 days of your first charge. To qualify, the refund request must be submitted within that 7-day window. There is no usage condition — you do not need to have avoided using the product to be eligible.

When refunds are not available

Refunds are not issued for: (a) subscription renewals after the first billing month; (b) partial months following cancellation; (c) requests submitted more than 7 days after the charge date. If you cancel mid-period, your access continues until the end of the current billing period and no partial refund is issued.

How to request a refund

Email ron@crucibleai.app with the subject line "Refund request" from the email address associated with your account. Include the date of the charge you are requesting a refund for. We will confirm receipt and process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Lemon Squeezy.

Access after a refund

If a refund is issued, your paid subscription is cancelled immediately and your account reverts to read-only access. Your simulation history and debrief records are preserved — nothing is deleted.
